I started making wine for fun, in August 2005 with a small group of friends. I never thought that such a strong passion would be born for this product and for all the activities that revolve around it. I began to study wine and vineyard.
I had no farmland, and so I turned the garden home, less than a land plot, into a vineyard and the old cellars in production rooms. At the beginning the results were not very satisfying, but try and try again, after some harvests things have improved. Today I am happy with the product I make, but more importantly, the enthusiasm and the desire to continue only increases year after year. Mine is a small production, about 7000 bottles, not only because the vineyard and the small cellar do not allow me to do more, but above all to take care of the small details and produce in a traditional way "with my own hands". I produce organic wine but I do not follow a particular style in doing it and I think it's just the result which talks itself. I like to adapt myself to a nature that every year does its course in the vineyard, but at the same time I want to monitor every single phase; I am well aware that if man does not actively participate in the winemaking process, nature does not always do what you expect and you can hardly get a quality product. Not every year my wines are the same: perhaps for the grapes that ripen differently, perhaps because of my fault that I always want to add or remove some "piece" to the winemaking process, or maybe for other reasons ...... but that's okay: It's a surprise all the time, with a dash of adrenaline.
